Improved business results for the Đuro Đaković Group in 2016.

Đuro Đaković Group published its financial report for the first quarter of 2016, reports Eclectica, a blog written by Nenad Bakić, on May 11, 2016.

This is the first such report in English published by the company since 2007. According to Bakić, such moves by companies demonstrate their openness and confidence.

The first part of the 58-page report includes general information about the company, description of products and services, a review of business operations in the third quarter, as well as expectations for the rest of the year. The second part consists of the analysis of the results of business operations.

In the first quarter of 2016, the Group generated revenues of 103 million kuna and had expenditures in the amount of 114.5 million kuna. There has been a net loss of 11.5 million kuna, while EBITDA was negative 3.2 million kuna. Comparing this quarter with the same period in 2015, revenues were higher by 13.6 million kuna, while EBITDA improved by 7.7 million kuna.

The group has achieved most of the objectives set out for the first quarter of 2016. Taking into account the full employment of capacities and the profitability of contracts in all companies within the Group for the rest of the year, it is expected that planned business indicators in 2016 will be achieved.
