September the 14th, 2023 – The Croatian company Ericsson Nikola Tesla successfully contracted an impressive four million euros in jobs during the months of July and August.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, in July and August this year, Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed contracts worth more than four million euros without VAT. The company also stated that the contracts are in the field of digital transformation, national security and modernisation, expansion and the maintenance of mobile telecommunications networks.

Carnet

One of these new contracts was signed with the well-known Carnet and is related to the application of digital technology in teaching as part of their eSchool project. As part of that particular project, digital wireless weather stations are also set to be installed at school locations across all Croatian counties.

The data from the weather stations will then transferred to the digital platform of Ericsson Nikola Tesla called eOkoliš (eEnvironment), which the company supplies for the collection, processing and visualisation of environmental data.

The State Geodetic Administration

In the field of land administration, cooperation between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the State Geodetic Administration is set to continue. A contract between the two was signed related to the support services for the digital geodetic study at their One-Stop-Shop, a unique service point for accessing land register and cadastre information. A contract on the upgrade and maintenance of the Infrastructure Cadastre System was also signed.

Business with Montenegro

Cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of neighbouring Montenegro has also continued in the field of national security. Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a contract on the maintenance of Montenegro’s 112 Centre, a single centre for all calls placed in emergency situations across the entire national territory of Montenegro.

For operators in neighbouring countries, these newly contracted jobs primarily relate to the modernisation, expansion and maintenance of mobile telecommunications networks have already been contracted. It’s worth noting that this contract is the fifth that the company reported on during 2023, according to data from the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
