Hotel Kvarner in Opatija will host the third edition of the Franchising Exhibition Croatia (FEC) – The Fair of Franchising, Financial and Consulting Services
On June 7 and 8, Croatian and international franchising companies will present potential future franchisers with complete packages of consulting and financial services, reports Novi list.
Senior adviser at the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Rijeka Perica Šolić said FEC will see 31 presenters this year, including more than 20 franchisers. “President of the European Franchise Federation (EFF) Michael Eyre and director of the largest franchising fair Cristoph Angleys are visiting the FEC fair this year. That means we managed to get the European professional network interested in this small but significant manifestation, and positioned ourselves on the European map of franchising fairs,” said Šolić. He also announced the possibility of the general assembly of the EFF that usually takes place in Bruxelles to move to FEC in 2018.
This year’s partner state is Italy, and the opening ceremony will have the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Rijeka sign a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Craft and Agriculture Venezia Giulia. Italy’s commercial attaché Massimo Broglia said the collaboration is sure to have substantial results, as Italy has more than 500.000 places of business that are part of franchises.
