The first hotel, Hyatt, will be constructed in the location of the old Maraska building; Dogus group, owner of several marinas in Croatia and D-Resort in Šibenik is the investor.
The second hotel will be built in the location o former hotel Zadar on the main city boardwalk while another one will be constructed in the location of the former TIZ factory which was recently demolished.
Two more hotel investment projects are planned in Zadar, one in the Foša bay instead of the old Elektra building and a Hilton Hotel will rise on Polašće opposite the City Gallery. Construction of this hotel has been in the works for quite some time now, but it hasn’t started yet because of unresolved land ownership issues.
