Another prestigious recognition for Croatian entrepreneur.
Mate Rimac has been included on this year’s list of the most successful and innovative young entrepreneurs from Europe, according to the business magazine Forbes.
Forbes has unveiled its “30 Under 30”, a list of young entrepreneur superstars divided in ten categories, from industry and technology to entertainment and media.
Rimac was selected in the category of industry. The founder of the Rimac Automobili company from Sveta Nedjelja near Zagreb is described as an entrepreneur whose goal is for his company to be cooler than Tesla, by producing electric cars which are not only efficient and environmental friendly, but also fast and exciting. “The goal is to build up an automotive Company in Croatia – which never had a car industry and very few technology-based companies.” Forbes adds that Rimac’s company also produces bikes. “Rimac started in his garage, and has since won multiple awards for his technology.”
Rimac Automobili is a Croatian car manufacturer that develops and produces high-performance electric cars, drivetrain and battery systems. Rimac Automobili’s first model, the Concept One, is known as one of the world’s fastest production electric vehicles. In addition to cars, the company also develops and produces drivetrain and car systems for other companies.
