ZAGREB, May 15, 2018 – Finance Minister Zdravko Marić said on Tuesday the government was following the rise of fuel prices and working on a comprehensive tax package, of which excises are an integral part.
“We are following developments. For now, there are no deviations from our original predictions and expectations,” he told reporters.
“We are working on a comprehensive tax system package. Excises are an integral part of that, but at this moment I can’t tell you anything more,” Marić said when asked if something would be done about the fuel price rise.
On Tuesday, the average price of petrol fuel in Croatia was 10.41 kuna per litre, or 0.10 kuna more than on Monday. The price crossed the 10 kuna mark on April 17.
