Welcome news for Kraš!

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 27th of February, 2018, the Kraš Group achieved net profit of 30.45 million kuna in 2017, which is 4.8 million kuna, or nearly 19 percent more than a year earlier, as an unaudited consolidated financial statement published on Tuesday reveals.

Along those same lines, the group’s total revenues amounted to 1.04 billion kuna, or one percent more than in 2016, while consolidated total expenditures amounted to 996.5 million kuna, or 0.4 percent higher.

The gross profit of the popular and respected Croatian confectionery industry reached 375.2 million kuna, with a gross margin of 36.65 percent, or 1.1 percentage points higher than in 2016.

As was detailed in the published report, in line with the policy of continuous strengthening of exports, Kraš opened last three new export markets – Turkey, Kuwait and Ireland.

In most of the existing export markets, growth has risen compared to the way it was back in 2016, especially in the USA, Australia, Palestine, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo. As a result, income from foreign sales amounted to 464.2 million kuna.
