Kraš Income Grows by More Than 10 Percent, Net Profit Reaches 4 Million Kuna

Most of the revenues are made up of sales revenue, amounting to an impressive 221.2 million kuna, which is a considerable 10.8 percent more than was recorded during the same period last year.

Poslovni Dnevnik reports on the 27th of April, 2018 that the Kraš Group has published net profits of four million kuna in the first quarter of 2018, which equals a 48 percent increase when compared to the same period just one year earlier, the rise in profit has been attibuted purely to revenue growth, according to the financial statement of this confectionary company, which was initially published on Friday.

Total revenues amounted to a massive 223.1 million kuna in the previous quarter, which is 10.2 percent increase when compared to what was recorded during the first quarter of 2017. Total consolidated expenses amounted to 218.1 million kuna, up by 9.8 percent, with most of the revenues being sales revenues, equalling 221.2 million kuna, or 10.8 percent more than recorded during the same period last year.

Revenues from sales abroad amounted to 101.8 million kuna, while domestic sales amounted to 119.4 million kuna, up by 19.8 million kuna.

The gross profit of the confectionery industry amounted to 82.6 million kuna in the first quarter, with the gross margins standing at 37.4 percent.

As mentioned in the report, the export growth trend continued in the first quarter of 2018 as part of the overall increase in the volume of sales. The most significant increase, as highlighted by Kraš, was achieved in Saudi Arabia, Australia, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Macedonia, as well as on the respective markets of both Western and Central Europe.
