As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 18th of November, 2019, the Lucera business incubator from the centre of the world, also known as the continental Croatian town of Ludbreg participated in VR Days in Amsterdam this year. The event in the Netherlands is otherwise one of the world’s largest virtual and augmented reality conferences and offers a good networking opportunity for the forward-thinking Ludbreg facility.
They also appeared in the form of a speaker, and were as such able, alongside the giants of the global IT industry such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft and others, to share their thoughts on the development and current position and future of XR technology in front of a packed and eager congress hall.
Ludbreg’s Lucera business incubator also had a prominent role in the panel dealing with European Union (EU) projects, as this year alone, two different projects were approved and funded through the ERASMUS + program. Both projects are related to virtual and augmented reality in the process of educating students.
Particular emphasis of the exhibitors from all over the world was also placed on the therapeutic effect of this type of modern technology, which was inspiring given the fact that they are also developing an innovative project in the field within the Ludbreg business incubator itself.
”It was an interesting three days in the capital of the VR world, VR days in Amsterdam met my expectations. We emerged as speakers and we had the opportunity to talk about technology development and the projects we’re working on.
Much more important is the fact that we’ve received some confirmation that we’re at the very top of the world of research and development of XR technology. New contacts were made, new opportunities for business cooperation were opened, and new friendships were made. It wouldn’t be modest to ask for more,” said Robert Majhen, IT Manager at the Ludbreg-based Lucera business incubator.
