A dose of luxury for the Peal of the Adriatic!
The famous hotel chain is in the initial phase of negotiations with potential partners.
After Hvar, the Four Seasons hotel chain is planning to enter the Dubrovnik market, where it is considering several possible projects and partners. This has been confirmed by Simon Casson, director of hotel operations of Four Season Hotels & Resorts for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
The prestigious hotel chain has entered the Croatian market together with the Arqaam Capital investment bank. Later this year, they will start construction of a luxurious resort worth a billion kuna at Brizenica Bay in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. The project was presented in Sesvetski Kraljevac, where a replica of the villas which will be built at Brizenica has been constructed.
“For our brand, it is imperative to be present on the Croatian coast, which has such a high potential for the development of luxury tourism. We are interested in Dubrovnik, where we are looking for a good partner for long-term cooperation. We are in negotiations with several potential investors. I will return to Croatia next week in order to meet with them,” said Casson, adding that the negotiations were still in the initial phase, which meant he was not able to disclose any details.
In addition to the fact that it is a destination which has already developed a luxury segment, Dubrovnik is also relatively near to Hvar, where in two years’ time the first Four Season resort in Croatia will be opened. The chain currently operates 105 hotels, resorts, and residences in 43 countries.
In addition to a hotel with common facilities, the tourist complex on Hvar will feature a hundred villas and residences, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a wellness and fitness center, several restaurants and bars, meeting halls and a port for seaplanes.
