Maistra will employ around 200 more workers than last year
One of the leading hotel groups in Croatia is organising an open house interview for prospective employees on February 28 in Hotel Lone in Rovinj, reports tportal on February 21, 2018.
According to the company, this is a unique opportunity for all proactive and ambitious candidates who are looking for employment in the tourism industry. Interested job seekers can talk to hotel representatives of various backgrounds and get information related to their desired job positions.
Candidates will then be assessed by Maistra’s experts, and if they meet the criteria and become a part of Maistra’s team, they will be offered the opportunity to work in hotels Monte Mulini, Lone, Eden, and Adriatic throughout the entire year. The best candidates will get to work in the new Grand Park Hotel Rovinj which is currently under construction and is expected to open by the end of the year.
Maistra will thus be employing a total of 2.700 workers in 2018, some two hundred more than in 2017. The increase speaks volumes about the growing tourist traffic in the pre-season, but is also a result of the need for new staff in the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj.
While the majority of Maistra’s workers reside in Istria, the company provides and pays for accommodation of all employees coming from other parts of Croatia. They are also provided two meals a day and compensation for travelling time, along with considerable bonus pay, Maistra stated.
