Marin Čilić Climbs onto Christ

Looking to fill his waiting time, the organizers helped Čilić climb one of the symbols of Rio, the Christ the Redeemer statue at 709 meters above sea level, 39.6 meters tall and 700 tons in weight, as Sportske Novosti reported on February 21, 2018.

“Definitely an amazing feeling. My legs are still shaking, and heart beating like crazy. It is very windy and not easy at all. Congratulations to the camera man for hauling the camera all the way to the top. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I am quite religious,” said Marin Čilić.
