The Tourism Minister is in the Pearl of the Adriatic for the opening ceremony of the 10th ISABS Conference on Forensic and Anthropologic Genetics and Mayo Clinic Lectures in Individualised Medicine.
Gari Cappelli will attend the opening ceremony of the much awaited event which will be held on the 19th of June, 2017, beginning at 09:00 in Dubrovnik’s very own Hotel Palace.
“The Tenth ISABS Conference on Forensic and Anthropologic Genetics and Mayo Clinic Lectures in Individualised Medicine” is held from the 19th to the 24th of this month and is one of the most significant world science events in the field of biomedicine this year. The entire manifestation is dedicated to trends that will completely change medicine as we know it today. Sixty invited lecturers and 500 participants from more than 40 countries including Nobel Prize winners prof.dr. HeraldzunHausen (University ofHeildeberg), prof. Dr. Ada Yonath (Weizmann Institute of Science) and prof.dr. Robert Huber (Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry) will be in the Pearl of the Adriatic this month to attend the star-studded event.
The main topics to be discussed during the congress will be: personalised and regenerative medicine, cell and gene therapy, pharmacogenomics and forensic genetics, and the lecturers and scientists involved currently possess the most well-read works in their respective fields of study and knowledge. Aside from the medical aspect of things, special emphasis will be placed on the latest techniques and methods of forensic science in the fight against organised crime, terrorism and bioterrorism.
The gathering was organised in co-operation with the leading American healthcare institution: MayoClinic, George Washinigton University, Penn State University, University of New Haven, Unfallkrankenhaus-Berlin, RegiomedHospitals and a number of Croatian health and scientific institutions.
