ZAGREB, March 6, 2018 – Croatia’s industrial turnover in December 2017 increased by 2.6% in comparison with November 2017, but fell by 1.8% in comparison with December 2016, figures from the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) show.
In December 2017, compared with the previous month, industrial turnover increased by 2% on the domestic market and fell by 3.3% on the foreign market.
Compared with December 2016, industrial turnover rose by 4.7% on the domestic market and declined by 12.9% on the foreign market.
Compared with November 2017, sales of energy increased by 18.6%, of durable consumer goods by 2.9% and of non-durable consumer goods by 0.6%, while sales of capital goods decreased by 4.8% and of intermediate goods by 1%.
Compared with December 2016, sales of non-durable consumer goods fell by 10.2%, of capital goods by 10%, of intermediate goods by 8.4%, of energy by 6.8% and of durable consumer goods by 4%.
