Company ACI Marina, in the first nine months of this year, had a net profit of 33.2 million kuna, which is 7% less than in the same period last year, the company reported on Monday.
Poslovni.hr reports that the total revenue in this period amounted to 165.3 million kuna which is at the level of the previous year, while the total expenditure was 132.1 million kuna or 2% more.
The operating income amounted to 155.7 million kuna which is the same as last year. The largest share of that amount, which is 72.5 million kuna, is from the annual berth (or docking) – which compared to last year’s first three quarters has declined by 1%. A little more than 51 million kuna is from daily berth, which has increased by 10%.
From leasing and secondary activities, in the first nine months, ACI earned 11.3 million kuna or 2% less than last year, and other services for boaters amounted to 9.3 million kuna, with a 3% annual decline.
When looking at the marinas, the highest revenue in the first nine months with 18.7 million kuna was the ACI Marina Split, followed by Marina Dubrovnik with 18.3 million kuna, the Marina Rovinj with 11.7 million kuna, and Palmizana with 10.7 million kuna.
On 30 September, it was recorded that the ACI marinas were visited by 3,496 vessels on an annual berth.
The report on operations in the first nine months of Management ACI highlights the most significant investment in the last 26 years – the construction of 22 new marinas Veljko Barbieri in Slano, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, which began operating in early August.
ACI dd has also announced the start of a project for the complete reconstruction of the land and sea portion of the marina Rovinj in Istria.
“Construction of a new marina Rovinj represents a significant step forward in the standards of nautical tourism in Croatia. Great design, the latest technological solutions and a high level of ‘tailor made’ nautical and catering services, the marinas will be ideal in a destination that is developing at an accelerated pace,“ announced ACI.
Planned works on the complete reconstruction of the marina will begin on December 1, 2016 and will last until the beginning of 2018.
