Rimac Searches for Potential Partners in America

Croatia’s Rimac is all the more active across the Atlantic.

As Darko Bicak/Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 20th of August, 2018, following its presentation in Europe, the Croatian technology company found itself exhibited in a popular California car show.

The Croatian car and car battery manufacturer, Rimac Automobili, announced that it will launch the American tour of its new Concept Two.

This car was first premiered back in March at the Geneva Motor Show, and later on at the same event in New York, and for that reason, the car wasn’t present at the widely attended Zagreb Auto Show.

As was stated by Rimac, and reported by us last week, the beautiful Concept Two appeared in Los Angeles on the West Coast of the United States, followed by a series of special events held at the Monterey Car Week in Southern California.

This year, Rimac entered into a major offensive that was crowned in the middle of the year by Germany’s prestigious Porsche entering into the minority ownership structure of the company. The German company, as it was announced, didn’t enter into business relations with Rimac purely with four-wheel vehicles, but also in the Greyp Bikes electric bike segment.

Last week, Mate Rimac, the founder and CEO of the company, announced a major investment in the technology park in his hometown of Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the Livno Business Forum in 2018, Rimac said that Bosnia and Herzegovina was the worst economy in Europe, and that the Technology Park should help not only the young people living there, and the local economy, but also work to strengthen relations with the diaspora.
