ZAGREB, February 16, 2018 – Maslenitsa, a Russian religious and folk holiday, will be celebrated in Zagreb’s Upper Town on Sunday, during the last week before Great Lent and the eighth week before Eastern Orthodox Pascha (Easter).
The event is organised for the 10th time by associations of Russians living in Croatia and the Russian embassy.
The organisers have invited residents to come to the Upper Town between 1 pm and 4 pm on Sunday to participate in Maslenitsa.
