Split to Get a LEGO Megastore

Total Croatia News

Good news for LEGO lovers in Dalmatia.

World famous LEGO company is planning to expand its operations in Croatia. In September 2014, a LEGO Certified Store was opened in Zagreb. Soon, it will open a new LEGO store in Split, the second largest city in Croatia. Starting from 6 October, Dalmatia will be able to enjoy LEGO products in more than 140 square metres of the new shopping centre the Mall of Split. Customers will be able to purchase the entire range of creative LEGO toys for children and adults, including exclusive product lines “Architecture” and “Technic”, as well as the “Star Wars” sets for fans of the legendary Star Wars films, reports Poslovni.hr on August 27, 2015.

In addition to numerous LEGO sets, most of which are only available in LEGO stores, the widest range of LEGO products will be offered as well, and the customers will be able to choose individual pieces they need and buy them in bulk. Those who want to have a unique LEGO figure will be able to make one themselves at the “Build-A-Mini” counter, where they will be able to choose from thousands of possible components and combinations.

There are many interesting statistics which demonstrate that LEGO remains the most popular creative toy in the world. For example, if we were to sum up all the produced LEGO pieces since the foundation of the company until today, we would get a figure of 120 LEGO pieces for every human on Earth. LEGO pieces have been in production since 1958, and LEGO last year provided entertainment and fun for more than 85 million people.

The fact that there are many fans of this world popular brand in Croatia is demonstrated by the photos from last year’s opening of the LEGO store in Zagreb, where a significant number of visitors from Dalmatia was also present.
