July the 6th, 2023 – The Garden Brewery has purchased a majority share in the company Full Circle.
As Poslovni Dnevnik/Suzana Varosanec writes, Zagreb’s wildly popular craft brewery The Garden Brewery, which includes the operations of their brewery The Bird, has become the majority owner of the Full Circle company through a transaction concluded this week.
The preparation and delivery of food at festivals
The Garden Brewery announced their latest business move recently via the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Full Circle is otherwise a company based in Pušćine near the town of Čakovec, and the contract for the sale and transfer of a business share corresponding to 50.94% of the share capital was realised with the previous owner and chef Marko Palfi, who remains a minority shareholder.
Full Circle specialises in the preparation and delivery of food intended for guests at music and street festivals, which marks a logical next step for The Garden Brewery. This enterprise also a long-term partner of The Garden Brewery Group in the segment of food preparation and delivery for “The Garden” music festival, as well as for various other street festivals throughout the country.
Continued intensive development is planned
As summarised by Full Circle in 2022, the company achieved a very impressive 1,139 million euros in revenue, its EBITDA stood at 202,139 euros and its EBT stood at 192,852 euros. The value of this transaction, as expected, hasn’t yet been publicly communicated. As far as the plan for the coming period is concerned, The Garden Brewery intends, in cooperation with Palfi, to continue intensively developing the segment of food preparation and sale intended for guests of music and street festivals. They have also listed an array of additional activities that they plan to achieve at the Group level.
Successful cooperation and awareness of the circular economy
By all accounts, the corporate transaction between Full Circle and The Garden Brewery completes a successful business collaboration that is recognisable on the market and in terms of developing awareness of ecology and the circular economy. All of it has been done accordance with the model in which the meat used within Full Circle is supplemented with brewing residues.
The transaction was realised immediately after the June assembly of The Garden Brewery.
