Saso is the most important trade fair for construction, the wood and metal industry, tools and equipment, electrical engineering, energy and telecommunications, crafts, and small entrepreneurship. The Saso Fair is an excellent opportunity to meet business owners, small and medium enterprises, architects, engineers and investors: over 73% of visitors are company owners or decision makers that have a major impact in their business decisions.
This year, the 20th International Saso Fair will be held at the Spaladium Arena from October 26 to 29, reports Dalmacija News. It is the most important economic gathering in the region that will present exhibitors from six European countries representing a total of 620 brands. In addition to nine specialized trade shows, this year’s Saso will have five professional conferences, economic B2B meetings, and workshops for craftsmen. More than a hundred exhibitors from Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Serbia and Croatia will be presented.
Sanja Vuković Veić , Director of Saso in Split, said the common thread that connects the fair is the opportunity for all exhibitors to find partners in Split to make a difference in the market.
“I think that our fellow citizens, among other things, will be interested to come to the fair because they can find out things such as how to get grants for energy reconstruction of residential buildings because the experts from the Ministry of Construction will be presented at the fair. Our exhibitors have also prepared many valuable prizes such as graphics tablets, UPS for homes and offices, etc,” announced Vuković Veić.
Head of the Administrative Department of the Economy and European Integration, Andjelko Katavić, boasted that in the last three years they have co-financed 283 projects and are currently involved in financing the project that should help entrepreneurs sell their products on the market.
Ela Žižić , head of the City Department of Economy, Tourism, International and European Funds, says that the fair has become a symbol of gathering in the business industry. She announced that Split this year will be a participant at the conference, adding that they believe that the exhibition industry has a significant impact on tourism and encouraging tourists outside of the season.
“Also, at the 13. Days of Architects, you can participate in a round table on the topic ‘New tourism facilities and the city of Split – pitfalls and possibilities’ and 11 energy summits,” said Rade Maršić, Head of Section for Transport, Communications, Construction and Municipal Economy of the County Chamber of Commerce.
The Croatian Chamber of Commerce will also host roundtables such as “Labour shortages – opportunities and possibilities for solving the Croatian paradox”.
Saso includes a number of international specialized fairs such as construction, the wood industry, metal industry, machinery and equipment, crafts, small business and entrepreneurship and SEKO-Fair ecology.
The event is held under the auspices of the Croatian Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Business and Trade, the Ministry of Construction and Urban Planning, Split-Dalmatia County and the city of Split.
