Lošinjska Plovidba Holding will invest 60 million euro to build hotel in Rujnica, develop the nautical-service centre in the Privlaka marina and Lošinj’s shipyard, as well as invest in the Lopar and Rapovac camps.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 6th of February, 2018, the company reported that it will go forth with three major projects in Mali Lošinj – the construction of a new hotel in Rujnica, the development of a nautical-service centre in the area of Privlaka and the shipyard of Lošinj, and an investment in the Lopar and Rapovac camps in Nerezine. The total value of the praiseworthy investment is estimated to be 60 million euro.
The hotel construction project in Rujnica is currently in the phase of decision making on the overall hotel concept, and the value of the project is estimated at between 13 and 17 million euro, according to the statement issued. It is reported that two variants of hotel have been elaborated, one of which foresees a 250-bed seasonal hotel, while the other provides a health and wellness hotel with about 200 beds that would work all year long.
Although the first variant is simpler and closer to the current offer, as well as to the general demands of the Croatian tourist market, the aim is to strengthen the company’s entire business.
The development of the nautical-service centre Lošinj is envisaged in the area of the existing Y/C Privlaka yacht and the shipyard of Lošinj, with a surface of more than 15 hectares, in an attractive location at the entrance to Mali Lošinj. The value of the investment is estimated at 30 million euro.
The project of investments in the Lopar and Rapovac camps, estimated at 11.5 million euro, aims to raise the category of 4-star camps by improving the facilities for rest, sport and recreation, as well as an overall increase in capacity for the Lopar camp.
