May the 8th, 2025 – The Croatian company Infobip has teamed up with no less than Formula 1, marking yet another remarkable step forward for this enterprise from Vodnjan.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the global cloud communications platform and 100% Croatian company Infobip has signed a multi-year partnership with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. The aim of this teaming up is to enhance the Formula 1 fan experience on a global scale. Infobip’s technology will usher in a new era of digital interaction and enable personalised, real-time experiences that bring fans even closer to this wildly popular race.

With a shared commitment to engineering excellence and innovation, this important partnership brings together two teams focused on performance and pushing the boundaries on and off the track. The Croatian company Infobip, a leading messaging platform, will help MoneyGram Haas F1 Team create richer and more interactive experiences for fans. To do so, it will use platforms like Rich Communication Services (RCS), WhatsApp and AI-powered in-app messaging.

Infobip’s advanced communications channels, such as RCS, are becoming increasingly popular. Their demand has been growing rapidly across North America and around the world. These communications channels deliver more interactive experiences across all touch points, from marketing and fan engagement to customer support.

The Croatian company Infobip’s technology will ultimately help the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team connect with their loyal fans in new, personalised ways, strengthening the connection on and off the track. For example, fans could learn more about their favourite driver through conversational AI that would answer questions and enable interaction via WhatsApp and other messaging platforms.

The partnership with the only American team in Formula 1, based in Kannapolis, North Carolina, kicked off at the Miami Grand Prix and will continue throughout the season.

The MoneyGram F1 Team, currently ranked sixth in the overall Constructors’ Championship, competed at the Miami Grand Prix. That was otherwise the sixth race of the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, which took place at the Miami International Autodrome in Miami, Florida, from May the 2nd to the 4th.

“With engineering at its core, Infobip clearly understands what it takes to continuously innovate and consistently deliver results week after week. Infobip has grown rapidly to become a global leader. Such a driving force is highly valued, especially given our ambitions as a team with a growing global fan base,” said Ayao Komatsu, Team Principal, MoneyGram Haas F1.

“From Austin to Miami, Infobip helps brands maintain their leadership position by delivering rich conversational experiences that strengthen customer loyalty and drive growth. Our data shows that RCS traffic has grown exponentially across North America and globally over the past two years, confirming its potential to transform the customer experience. By supporting the team in leveraging such channels and enabling richer and more interactive experiences, we’re going to help bring fans even closer to the action,” added Ivan Ostojić, Chief Operating Officer at Infobip.

Infobip is otherwise the first Croatian unicorn with revenue exceeding 1.8 billion euros in 2024. The company provides communications solutions to some of the world’s largest companies, such as Google and Uber, enabling users to use different channels such as WhatsApp, RCS and Apple Messages for Business. It also has a strong presence in the automotive industry, where it helps manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan and Mahindra transform the customer experience during the purchasing process using AI.
