February the 4th, 2025 – The Croatian giant Infobip is set to enter the demanding Japanese market through that country’s largest telecommunications group.
As Tanja Ivancic/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Croatian technology company Infobip has entered into a strategic partnership with NTT Com Online Marketing Solutions Corporation, part of Japan’s largest telecommunications group, NTT.
Through this collaboration, Croatian cloud communications services made by Infobip will become available to the Japanese market through a specially tailored platform that combines NTT’s messaging and voice services with Infobip’s technology.
The new platform, called NTT CPaaS, will enable Japanese companies to use multi-channel communications solutions without the need for coding, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools, Infobip explained.
“The platform has been built on three key components – NTT’s reliable messaging and voice services, the Croatian company Infobip’s technology for communication through applications, and our expertise on the Japanese market,” said Yoshie Tsukamoto, president and CEO of NTT Com Online.
The entire platform will be available in the Japanese language, with a locally adapted payment system. In addition to existing NTT services, the partnership will enable the introduction of new channels such as webRTC, live chat and international messaging services to the Japanese market, the companies announced.
“This partnership with Infobip enable Japanese companies to provide better user experiences through multi-channel communication,” said Silvio Kutić, the CEO of Infobip.
According to analytical companies Gartner and Metrigy, the remarkable Croatian company Infobip is a global leader in the field of CPaaS technology. Having drawn its roots from Vodnjan in Istria, this company’s clients include huge names including Microsoft, Apple, Meta and Uber.
