August the 31st, 2023 – Promotional campaigns for the Croatian post-season have begun across several of the country’s main emitting markets.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ/CNTB) has kicked off promoting the Croatian post-season new campaign entitled “Experience Croatia… your memories are on us!”. This campaign invites tourists to come and visit Croatia during the post-season, with the aim of maintaining positive tourist trends until the end of this year, HTZ reported on Tuesday.

This campaign will be carried out from the end of August to the end of October on the markets of Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, France and Sweden, with an emphasis placed on nautical tourism, natural beauty, wine and gastronomy, not to mention the offer of active and cultural tourism. The latter two points are safer and much more enjoyable during the cooler months and always attract many hoping to engage in more than just sunbathing and swimming.

In addition to the new campaign focusing on the Croatian post-season, HTZ director Kristjan Staničić took a look at the tourism (physical) results so far this year, up to the end of August. During this period, Croatia was visited by eight percent more tourists who realised two percent more overnight stays than last year during the same period.

“During the rest of the year, we want to maintain these positive results and with this goal in mind, we’re launching a new Croatian post-season campaign. This is all the more important because trips made during the pre- and post-season(s) are more and more in demand due to more pleasant temperatures and less crowds in destinations. More accessible and favourable prices for tourist products and services are also a lure. This also fits into the strategic plans for the sustainable development of Croatian tourism overall, so that in the future we have year-round business in tourism”, said Staničić.
