Fancy a Government appointed position and a bit of job security?

Once again, the state is looking to employ a heavy load of people as it searches for up to 300 new officials to be placed in various positions. As Poslovni Dnevnik reports on the 3rd of August, 2017, the Croatian state has numerous job vacancies in ministries and other similar institutions. The call for new staff was published in the Official Gazette (Narodne Novine) and on the official website of the Ministry of Administration.

The Croatian government also issued a decision during its last session in July, which simplifies and accelerates the process of the overall employment procedure. More than 300 positions within the civil service are up for grabs and are expected to be filled.

According to postings on the website of the Ministry of Administration, municipal, county, commercial courts and state attorneys throughout Croatia hope to employ a further 80 people. The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds have open positions for 62 people, the Ministry of Agriculture has 44, the Ministry of State Property has 32, the Ministry of Labour has 14, the Ministry of Justice (Prison Administration) and the State Audit Office have posted 13 job openings. In addition, other government ministries and institutions are known to be seeking a handful of new employees as well.
