April the 27th, 2025 – Fantastic international recognition and two awards have found themselves in the hands of the Croatian brand The Artisan gin.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Croatian premium The Artisan craft gin managed to achieve truly exceptional international success and two awards at the prestigious London Spirits Competition. It took home a gold medal with an incredibly impressive score of 97 points, as well as the enviable “Spirit of the year 2025” award.
This renowned competition in London is otherwise one of the world’s most important beverage evaluations, where products are evaluated not only for their level of quality, but also for their design and overall appeal to the end consumer.
The event is organised by the Beverage Trade Network, which holds trade fairs and events for the beverage industry around the world. In competition with hundreds of premium distillates from all over the world, the Croatian Artisan craft gin stood out as a rare combination of authentic taste, sustainable approach and a strong personal story.
The double victory at one of the world’s most prestigious competitions comes as the crowning achievement of the team from The Artisan distillery. It also concrete confirmation that Croatia has its very own shining star in the world of premium craft gins.
The Artisan Gin distiller Maja Jakovac stated that winning these awards are recognition that small, independent producers from Croatia can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world.
“The Artisan Gin isn’t just a drink – it’s an experience, and it’s a story in its own right,” she concluded.
