January the 20th, 2025 – Direct flights connecting the Serbian capital of Belgrade with various destinations along the Croatian coast are set to take off this summer.
As Morski writes, the summer schedule this year for Air Serbia from Belgrade will include popular cities along the Croatian coast. That includes Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik, with significant increases in the number of rotations during the peak summer season. Flights to Zagreb from Belgrade will remain year-round.
A gradual increase in the number of direct flights between Belgrade and the Croatian coast is expected during the summer months. The highest rotations are naturally expected in July and August, when the peak tourist season and highest demand is expected.
On the Belgrade-Pula route, which will be in service from the end of May to mid-October, Air Serbia plans four flights per week. As is the case with other routes, the number of flights will be reduced towards the end of the season, and passengers will be transported between Belgrade and the Istrian peninsula by ATR72 aircraft.
For Rijeka and Zadar, Air Serbia is introducing a flight season from the beginning of June to the end of September, with two flights per week planned to Rijeka and three flights per week to Zadar. These direct flights will provide excellent connectivity between Belgrade and the Croatian coast. According to Croatian Aviation, the number of flights will be stable throughout the summer, with no oscillations in the number of weekly rotations.
The route from the Serbian capital to Split, which will be active from early May to late October, will see an increase in the number of flights to a maximum of six per week from mid-June to mid-September. During the months before and after the main summer season, the number of flights will be reduced in order to adapt to lower demand. The route to Split will also be operated by larger A319 aircraft.
Looking at Dubrovnik, Air Serbia plans to fly from Belgrade from late April to late October. The number of direct flights from Belgrade to this most popular destination on the Croatian coast will reach seven per week during the busiest months, from June to mid-September.
