Diver Dies Near Hotel Palace Beach in Dubrovnik

Another horrific incident takes place in the usually safe waters around Dubrovnik.

As DuList reported on the 1st of May 2017, a diver lost their life close to Hotel Palace on Sunday the 29th of April at around 16:30.

The person, who is a foreign citizen and is reportedly a Serbian national born in the year 1970 was diving with several friends before allegedly falling victim to rough waves, hitting rocks and subsequently drowning although the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed by autopsy.

It is not being treated as a violent or suspicious death.
