Protests were held in towns and on islands including Brač, Šolta, Korčula, Prvić, Mali Lošinj , Split and Dubrovnik and protesters and supporters of the movement were invited to ring, honk, whistle, and shout to show their support (“Shout out for the islands and the coast, so they can hear us in Zagreb”), a protest was held in Zagreb this morning at 8:30 as well. All islanders and island lovers, as well as people planning on spending their vacation at the coast this summer, were invited to join the event. They were encouraged to bring beach equipment, such as towels and sunchairs, to send a loud and clear message that the law on concessions should be brought back to public debate because it was formulated in an unclear and unspecific way that leaves room for manipulation and misuse.
