Fire Breaks Out Near Imotski

A large fire broke out close to the Red Lake near Imotski, reports Index on July 31, 2017.

The Fire Department Imotski reported a large area is affected by the blaze that might soon spread to inhabited places due to strong wind. As the area is covered in pine forest that is quick to catch fire, the situation is alarming.

All available forces from local fire departments around Imotski have been sent into the field, along with three canadairs that arrived on site at 17:30.
