Zadar Airport will host an array of newcomers this summer.

As eZadar writes on the 23rd of March, 2018, the summer flight schedule at Zadar Airport comes into force on Sunday, March the 25th.

The season will be opened by a Ryanair flight, which departs for the Swedish city of Gothenburg at 06:30.

The new companies to take to Zadar Airport this year are Aegean Airlines – Athens (ATH), Norwegian – Oslo (OSL), Germany – Zurich (ZRH), Brussels Airlines – Brussels (BRU), and Condor – Frankfurt (FRA).

As for the new destinations of the existing airline companies, Ryanair will connect with Frankfurt, Memmingen and Bremen, Lufthansa will connect with Frankfurt and Easyjet will connect with the German capital of Berlin.

The most ”significant” operator for 2018’s upcoming season will be the ever popular Ryanair, which is set to establish fourteen lines from all parts of Europe. Eurowings will also fly to seven destinations this year, and Easyjet to three destinations.

Meanwhile, Croatia’s national carrier, Croatia Airlines, along with the international route to Frankfurt, will offer three daily flights to both Zagreb and Pula this year.

After last year’s record of 589,000 passengers, it is encouraging to note that the numbers are expected to be 5 to 7 percent higher than they were in 2017.
