June the 19th, 2025 – Gorgeous Istria, Croatia’s largest peninsula, has been nominated for the Wanderlust Travel Awards as the most desirable region in Europe.
As Istraterramagica.eu writes, Wanderlust is a highly regarded British travel magazine that has been inspiring readers globally with authentic itineraries, fantastic photography and expert advice for over three decades. The publication also actively encourages its readers to go and explore lesser-known destinations.
This leading magazine specialising in sustainable travel is also responsible for organising the annual Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards, to which Croatian destinations are no strangers.
In the 24th edition of this prestigious award, Istria was nominated for the Wanderlust Travel Awards best destination among European regions, while Rovinj was nominated among the cities.
