April the 11th, 2025 – The Croatian company Končar has contracted projects in excess of 1 billion euros in the Middle East, to which it is expanding.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Končar is being presented at the Middle East Energy Fair in Dubai this week.
“We’re excited to be returning to the Middle East and Africa’s premier hub for energy innovation and industry collaboration – right here in Dubai. We’ll be presenting a comprehensive range of our advanced solutions in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity – together with our expertise in the construction of transmission lines and the production of precision suspensions and connection equipment,” they stated from Končar on LinkedIn.
As they revealed from Končar, throughout 2025, they plan to expand their promotional activities at trade fairs with the aim of even more intense global positioning as a first choice partner for the implementation of the goals of the ongoing green transition.
It’s worth noting the fact that the Croatian company Končar recently announced the opening of an office in Saudi Arabia with the aim of expanding to the Middle East. That means that this Dubai fair appearance is also important in this particular context.
Throughout the last year, the Croatian company Končar D&ST delivered the first three earthing transformers contracted with a local engineering company for STATCOM projects. They were positioned in three locations in Saudi Arabia. Končar D&ST currently has contracted deliveries in Saudi Arabia for this year for more than twenty grounding transformers with the highest short-term grounding current to date.
The company’s impressive contract book for project implementation in 2025 amounts to 1.1 billion euros. The plan for this year is almost fully covered by contracts. It is also being filled for 2026 and the following years.
