Bike Rijeka Wins UNWTO Award in Madrid for Excellence and Innovation

Second place in Madrid for the innovative Bike Rijeka app. 

More success for Croatian innovation on January 21, 2016, as the Rijeka Tourist Board announced on its Facebook page that innovative app Bike Rijeka had come second in Madrid at the 12th annual UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation.

As previously reported on TCN, a total of 17 projects from Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe were selected, from a total of 109 candidacies proving once again that Croatian IT companies are among the best in the world when it comes to innovative programs and applications.

Bike Rijeka Mobile App enables you to search for more than 40 cycling trails shown on Google Maps and provides detailed directions on how to reach them. All trails include descriptions attractions, locations of nearby food and drink venues, service centres, accommodation options and everything else you need to explore new trails during your stay in Rijeka. The application is available on Google Play and AppStore.
