Acro is a “designer planner” that lets users set and accomplish their goals while never taking eyes off the ball – their priorities, desires and things for which they need to be grateful. Eli Novaković, the creator of Acro, said that she always loved planners and was also very impressed with the design of books, magazines or even daily newspapers, reports Poslovni.hr on March 17, 2016.
“Acro is an ideal combination of aesthetics and functionality. This is a minimalist planner with illustrated headlines and content that helps users understand what they want, and set and achieve goals”, explains Novaković. She recalled how it all started and how she went to see a potential partner with a design sample and sales strategy. They agreed to help with printing until the project takes off. Two years have passed and the project has three employees who are continuously working on it.
This young team has so far published three collections of Acro planners. The first one included five different covers while today they have 8-10 per collection. In addition to Acro design, Novaković said, she also handles social media for the project, including Facebook and Instagram, and she does a part of the sales activities. Logistics and other sales activities are taken care of by the other two members of her team. Occasionally, during the preparations and start of a campaign, the team grows to as many as ten people.
“Besides Acro Originals, Acro Illustrated layout is being drawn by some talented illustrators in the region and beyond. For them, this is a great opportunity for promotion, and for us, it represents an added value. Our product is very photogenic, Instagram is peppered with it, and every day we receive feedback based on the content. We accept criticism with an open heart, discuss it and if we think it is worth implementing, then that’s what we do“, Novaković said.
An ideal day cannot even exist if we do not know what we would want it to look like, she emphasized. With Acro planner, this is no longer a problem. “We are confident that anyone can achieve what they want if they set a goal using our strategy and work on it every day”, Novaković said, adding that her goal is to digitalize the entire project and increase the sales.
