Another success for Croatia’s IT industry.
In its report on “Track and Trace Software” for the pharmaceutical industry or rather for serialization of medicines, the IDC consultant company from the United States has ranked Croatian TradeTicity among the 10 best software companies of its kind in the world. According to IDC analysts, TradeTicity ranks second in Europe, reports Večernji List on April 13, 2016.
The selection of the top ten companies was done on the basis of solution functionality and user interface, ease of use and integration with other systems, scalability, support, billing model, the vertical focus of vendors, financial stability, and customer base, as well as the references check.
The representatives of TradeTicity, which specializes in pharmaceutical serialization, say this recognition is their greatest achievement. The company has five employees in Croatia and nine in Serbia, as well as offices in the United Kingdom, Brazil, and the United States.
“TradeTicity solution reduces implementation costs up to 75 percent and delivers a significant reduction in project duration. Integration layer enables integration with hardware devices, but also with other systems. It is built to support all geography regions and dispersed locations”, the company says on its website.
The need for the software for serialization of medicines was created after the adoption of a number of regulations envisaging security codes for all drugs and verification system, as well as the registration in the national database of medicines which is part of the common EU database, in order to enable the tracking of drugs from the factory to the patient.
The leading companies in the world listed in the IDC report are the American companies Acsis, Axway, Frequentz, JDA, rfXcel, TraceLink, TrackTraceRx and Verify Brand, as well as SAP AG and TradeTicity as the only businesses coming from Europe.
TradeTicity says that besides their clients from the pharmaceutical and food industry, they are serving many other industries, from high fashion and automotive to home appliances and hotel industries.
