Rather lovely promotion of Betina Shipbuilding Museum
Renowned Italian sailing magazine Sailing & Travel Magazine published a rather extensive story about the Museum of Traditional Wooden Shipbuilding in Betina on December 12, 2015.
The story takes you on a virtual tour of the Betina museum, brings an overview of exhibited items that represent the entire history and tradition of shipbuilding in Betina, one of Croatia’s best known wooden shipbuilding towns. Author gives special attention to the importance of preserving shipbuilding heritage of island Murter and talks about the importance of incentives in order to expand the Museum, continue this time old tradition of constructing renowned Betina gajeta ships and preserving shipbuilding as an industry of significant importance in this area.
