Wonder how Rimac Concept One Fares Against Honda NSX and Lamborghini Aventador?

Future vs present vs past is the most fitting title for this drag race shot for the first episode of the second season of Grand Tour

One of the fastest electric cars in the world comes from Croatia, the Rimac Concept One, seen in this video pitted against the Honda NSX and the Lamborghini Aventador S. Before reading on, watch the video so we don’t give up the end result too soon:

Mate Rimac commented on the episode on his Facebook: “As Jeremy Clarkson says – the fastest thing he has ever seen. I must admit I had cold feet watching it – but having those three guys testing a car that we have designed, developed and manufactured – is one of the milestones in our journey and my life. And we did it – for better or worse – with a bang.”

During the filming of the show in June, Richard Hammond crashed the Rimac car in Switzerland, missing a curve in high speed and flipping the car. This is the reason why this episode is shown first, since Hammond can be seen in later episodes on crutches.
