Croatia is Withdrawing From the Arbitral Proceedings!

Report from the press conference held by the Croatian PM.

After a very brief meeting with the presidents of all Croatian parliamentary parties, Croatia PM Zoran Milanović held a press conference in Zagreb to announce their decision regarding the continuation of scandal ridden arbitration with Slovenia.

“Our meeting was brief and we all think the same, Croatia cannot continue with the arbitration because it is contaminated” PM stated adding that Croatia will withdraw from the contract in accordance with the very precise regulations of international law.

“This procedure will be conducted by the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We will ask the Parliament for their swift consent in order to withdraw from the agreement because Croatia can and will do that” commented Milanović despite the claims from his Slovenian counterpart Miro Cerar who stated that Croatia cannot unilaterally suspend the agreement.
