April the 18th, 2024 – Now that the Croatian parliamentary elections are over – who exactly will HDZ end up forming a majority with? Plenković has revealed more.

As Index vijesti writes, Andrej Plenković has revealed that it will soon be known to the public with whom HDZ will form a majority. “It feels great, this is our third victory in a row, and a convincing one at that – no one has managed to do that before us. We’re very satisfied, the “myth” that a high turnout doesn’t suit HDZ has been destroyed,” said President Andrej Plenković announced on HDZ’s official page.

“Very soon you’ll find out who we’re going to be forming a new majority in parliament with. We’ve spoken with some of our colleagues already, in fact we did so on election night. We’re going to be continuing our talks today. Everything is going well, the winners will lead the government in the third term as well,” Plenković also said in a post on the HDZ Facebook page.

The unofficial results after processing almost all of the country’s polling stations, according to media calculations, show that HDZ has unsurprisingly and convincingly won the Croatian parliamentary elections. As we understand it, has won 61 mandates, while the Rivers of Justice (Rijeke Pravde) won 42 mandates.

Homeland Movement (Domovinski Pokret) came in third with 14 mandates won, Most (Bridge) got 11 and Mozemo! (We Can!) got 10 mandates.
