During her tour she will visit Minneapolis and Chicago
As reported by Jutarnji list on December 28, 2015, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović will start the New Year with a working visit to the United States of America.
During her stay, Grabar Kitarović will first visit Minneapolis in Minnesota where she will be the guest of the Minnesota National Guard in order to mark the 20 year anniversary of the successful cooperation between Croatia and Minnesota within the State Partnership Programme. She is also due to meet the Governor of Minnesota, Mark Dayton.
The President will then travel to Chicago where she will meet with the members of the Croatian community and participate in a charity luncheon to raise funds for an Association for persons with disability “Bubamara” from Vinkovci.
Upon her return from the United States, Grabar Kitarović will temporarily relocate her office to Vukovar where she will host a reception for members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Croatia to mark the anniversary of peaceful reintegration of the Danube river region with the rest of Croatia as well as the 24th anniversary of Croatia’s international recognition.
