“Except for some minimal restrictions in the health and social welfare systems, there are practically no other restrictions, which does not mean that the virus is gone because people still get infected,” the minister said.
He added that he did not want to speculate about when the pandemic would be officially declared over, adding that he was not sure anyone, including the World Health Organisation, had declared it over.
“This summer the situation will be significantly easier than it was in the past two years and we hope the autumn will not be demanding.”
