Health Sector Receives 172 Million Kuna from EU Funds

ZAGREB, August 27, 2018 – A 172.3 million kuna European Union grant will be invested to equip day hospitals and outpatient surgeries in nine hospitals in Croatia and an agreement to that end was signed on Monday by EU Funds Minister Gabrijela Žalac and Health Minister Milan Kujundžić.

Kujundžić said the funds would be used to procure equipment for interventional cardiology, radiotherapy, seven MRI scanners and robotic surgery systems for university hospitals in Zagreb, Rijeka and Split and general hospitals in Varaždin and Zadar.
