Nikola Dobroslavic to Remain Dubrovnik-Neretva County Prefect

The current Prefect of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Nikola Dobroslavic, will remain in his position.

The battle of the two Nikolas ended with the success of long-time Dubrovnik-Neretva County Prefect Nikola Dobroslavic defeating his MOST opponent (Nikola Grmoja) in the second round of local elections.

Born on the 2nd of January 1949 in Slano, close to Dubrovnik, HDZ’s Nikola Dobroslavic is a Professor of English language and Philosophy. 

He is the former director of the Hotel ”Osmine” in his hometown of Slano and has served as Dubrovnik-Neretva County’s Prefect for several years, beginning in 2009, with his second mandate back in 2013. He is both experienced and involved with politics at a European level and he also served as Mayor of the Dubrovnik-Primorje Municipality twice (1997-2001 and 2003-2009).

Dobroslavic’s position is safe for another four years, we wish him success!
