The poll shows that parliamentary seats in the third constituency would be won by same parties like last year.

RTL and Jutarnji List are continuing with their poll of ten parliamentary constituencies ahead of elections which will be held on 11 September. On Monday, they announced the results for the third parliamentary constituency, which covers the northernmost parts of Croatia (Krapina-Zagorje County, Varaždin County and Međimurje County), reports RTL on August 22, 2016.

At the last year’s elections, the SDP-led Croatia Is Growing coalition won 49.2 percent of the vote in this constituency, followed by the HDZ-led Patriotic Coalition (24.5 percent), MOST (7.9 percent), Reformists (6.5 percent), and Živi Zid (5.3 percent). SDP coalition won 8 seats in parliament, HDZ coalition 4 seats, MOST 1 seat and Reformists 1 seat.

According to results of the poll, about 60 percent of voters will vote in September. The SDP-led coalition, which is now called People’s Coalition and includes HSS, would win 44.2 percent of the vote, followed by HDZ (20.8 percent), MOST (6.3 percent), and Reformists (5.0 percent). Živi Zid at 4.6 percent of support is slightly below the five percent threshold to enter parliament. However, about 13 percent of voters say they will vote but are not sure for which party.

In terms of seats, the results are the same as last year. SDP coalition would get 8 seats, HDZ 4 seats, MOST 1 seat and Reformists 1 seat. At this elections, Reformists are part of the coalition led by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić.

Asked who would be the best prime minister, the majority of respondents chose SDP president Zoran Milanović (42.0 percent). He is followed by HDZ president Andrej Plenković (16.3 percent), Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić (7.9 percent), MOST president Božo Petrov (6.7 percent), and Živi Zid leader Ivan Vilibor Sinčić (6.7 percent).

After polls for two constituencies (third and fifth), HDZ has the same number of seats as last year, SDP coalition has one seat more, while MOST has one seat less.

On Wednesday evening, RTL and Jutarnji List will announce the results of the poll for the ninth constituency (northern part of Dalmatia and Lika).
