July the 11th, 2017, marks 22 years since one of the most horrific massacres of recent times took place. It will be remembered in Dubrovnik.

As DuList reports on the 7th of July, 2017, a procession organised by the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Dubrovnik will take place on the 22nd anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, on the 11th of July.

The Srebrenica genocide took place at the hands of the Army of Republika Srpska and the targets were Muslim men and boys, 8,373 people lost their lives to the massacre which happened in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, back in 1995.

T-shirts marking the event will be given to all participants at 11:30 next to big Onofrio’s Fountain in the Old City.
