Quick Intervention sees Fire Extinguished on Boat in Gruž

Another boat almost fell victim to another fire this afternoon in Dubrovnik.

As DuList reported on the 4th of July, 2017, flames struck again on board the Liberty boat, docked along the waterfront at Dubrovnik’s main port in Gruž. 

According to information provided by JVP Dubrovački Vatrogasci (Dubrovnik Firefighters), four vehicles and 11 firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to deal with what had the potential to become a very bad fire outbreak. Owing to the quick reaction and skill of the firefighters, the flames were extinguished quickly and easily and the situation was calmed and resolved in excellent time, with no injuries to anyone.
