January the 21st, 2024 – The very first phase of the much anticipated Rimac Campus is now drawing to a close, and the financial director has shed some light on what’s going to be happening at that sprawling complex when it finally opens.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the core of Rimac Group’s global headquarters is a unique architectural building the size of the ancient historical core of Dubrovnik. The first phase of the project is now finally coming to an end, as reported by HRT.

“The Rimac Campus will be a research, development and production complex, and it will also be one of the largest in this part of Europe. In this production building, the production of parts and hypercars for Bugatti Rimac, and Rimac Technology battery systems and parts of drive systems for other car manufacturers will take place,” revealed Biljana Veselinović, the director of finance at Rimac Technology.

The innovative company has operated in several locations, so the relocation of industrial facilities is a demanding process in which all local companies are participating.

The first machines for production, which should start in the spring, are being assembled in future Rimac Campus. With the complete completion of the campus, more than two and a half thousand people should be employed there. Rimac’s investment itself amounts to an eye-watering 200 million euros.
