January the 24th, 2025 – Ryanair has announced brand new flights from Croatia, heading to both Poland and France, with more plans in the works.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, wildly popular Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair has scheduled and launched additional new routes from Croatia. As previously reported by EX-YU Aviation News, the airline has continued with its plans to launch new routes from Dubrovnik to Marseille (France) and Katowice (Poland).

Tickets for both routes from Croatia are already on sale. Flights between Dubrovnik and Katowice will operate on Mondays and Thursdays from March the 31st to October the 23rd, 2025. Flights between Dubrovnik and Marseille will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, from April the 3rd to October the 23rd, 2025.

Furthermore, the carrier has also planned a new route between Zadar and Bratislava, making the Slovak capital the 24th destination served by the low-cost carrier from that coastal Croatian city. Ryanair is also expected to launch a new route between Hahn and Rijeka soon.

The details surrounding those flights from Croatia haven’t yet been officially confirmed and tickets aren’t yet available for purchase, but sales are expected to start soon. This is otherwise Ryanair’s second new connection to Rijeka, which previously received a route to Wroclaw, Poland. The route will be operated on Mondays and Fridays from June the 2nd to September the 29th, 2025.

This shift is otherwise part of a wider reallocation of Ryanair flights. Last week, Ryanair announced that it would suspend or reduce flights to seven airports in Spain this summer due to excessive fees from the state-owned airport operator Aena, and Croatia is expected to be one of the countries that could receive more flights as a result of the move.

Ryanair will thus stop flying to the cities of Jerez and Valladolid entirely. It will also reduce the number of flights to and from Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza, Santander and Asturias Airport. In total, it will reduce capacity on 12 routes by 18 percent and eliminate around 800,000 passenger seats compared to the previous summer, the carrier announced.
