From sea turtles to dolphins, Croatia’s Adriatic is teaming with life, but managing to catch a magical glimpse of these wild animals in their natural environment doesn’t always happen as you’d like it to.
As Morski writes on the 24th of June, 2018, Zadar County Center 112 reported that around 10:00 yesterday between Košljun and Povljana, on the shores of Maletinac, a two metre long dead dolphin had sadly been discovered.
A veterinary surgeon has been informed of the event and the competent veterinary surgeries will be further acquainted with the aforementioned case, as well as employees from the Veterinary Faculty in Zagreb.
Hopefully more information will be retrieved from the body of the dead dolphin to determine the cause of death of the unfortunate animal, as well as more information on what causes such cases to occur.
